Workshop Guidelines and Proposal Submission:

All workshop proposals must be submitted online and received no later than April 4, 2008.

Guidelines for Workshop Presentations –

  • Presenters should plan to present a workshop of 60 – 75 minutes in duration.
  • There should be no more than three presenters for each workshop.
  • Workshops should be engaging, interactive and focused.
  • Workshop presenters should allow approximately 15 minutes for questions and answers.
  • Meeting rooms can accommodate approximately 30 to 50 participants. (If selected please bring handouts for participants.)

Proposals must contain the following information to be considered for inclusion in this year’s conference-

  • Workshop title
  • Names and titles of all presenters
  • Full contact information (mailing address, phone/fax numbers, and e-mail address) for all presenters
  • Short biography of no more than 75 words for each presenter
  • Three learning objectives (Please be descriptive and explain what participants will learn in the workshop.)
  • Abstract of the proposed workshop’s content (no more than 150 words)
  • Any audio/visual equipment needs (Presenters are asked to bring their own laptop if making a power point presentation.)

Proposals may be submitted online at 2008workshop.htm.  Notification regarding proposal acceptance will be sent in May.
